Everglades National Park
Everglades National Park is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States — 1.5 million acres of sawgrass prairie, mangrove forest, and slow-moving water stretching from the southern tip of the Florida Peninsula. The main visitor entry point is the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center at the park's northern entrance. Weston sits about 40 miles north of the park entrance via US-27 and SR-997, making it one of the closer suburban communities in Broward County for Everglades access.
Charter buses and minibuses can access the main park road, and the visitor center has space for large vehicles. Confirm current bus parking arrangements with the park before your visit.
